Restoration of an eighteenth century longcase clock

Even after having done many longcase clocks, all of a sudden there is something new: an internal ratched in both great wheels. Never seen it before. The clockmaker is Thomas Williams Preston, who is recorded 1750-71. I would have thought this clock can be dated around 1780
